A native New Yorker, Steve Stallmer has over 16 years of experience in politics and government service. He has worked for several Members of Congress, culminating his career as Chief of Staff to a sitting Republican Member of the House. In this capacity, Stallmer worked with the Republican Leadership offices and the staffs of numerous Committees to help advance the Members political and policy priorities.
Prior to managing all of the Congressman’s political, legislative and communications operations, Stallmer was the Vice President of Government & Public Affairs for the Associated General Contractors of New York State (AGC). At AGC, he lobbied the New York State Legislature and the Congressional Delegation on construction, tax, labor and regulatory issues. He also worked closely with several state and federal agencies and served as the spokesman for the statewide trade association.
Stallmer possesses a unique combination of government experience, campaign strategy, association management and public relations skills. He applies all these attributes to successfully navigate the complex legislative and regulatory process for his clients, which span transportation, agriculture, healthcare, and corporate affairs.
