Jordan Karem

Mr. Karem has more than 15 years of experience at the highest level of national politics, public affairs, and government relations. Mr. Karem has represented numerous Fortune 500 companies and trade associations with a focus on energy and technology. His clients have included Google, NextEra, Pinnacle West, Alliance Resource Partners, Veritone, AppHarvest, Eddison Electric Institute, and Nuclear Energy Institute.

Prior to working with Envision Strategy, Mr. Karem served nearly two years in senior positions at the White House. Most recently at the White House, Mr. Karem was Director of Oval Office Operations. Earlier, Mr. Karem served as Trip Director for the President and Deputy Director of Presidential Advance.

Mr. Karem also served as Governor Mike Pence’s Press Director during the 2016 presidential campaign and as a communications advisor to the Vice-President Elect during the presidential transition.

Prior to serving in the White House, Mr. Karem spent four years with Pinnacle West Capital Corporation/Arizona Public Service (APS) in Phoenix. APS employs more than 6,200, operates the nation’s largest nuclear power plant and is the largest electric utility in Arizona. Mr. Karem joined the company as Spokesperson in 2012 and ultimately became Chief of Staff to the Chairman and CEO.

Mr. Karem has worked in the fields of communications and operations on five presidential campaigns. He has also worked on high-profile state races across the county. Mr. Karem has spent time in state government as well working for the Governor of New York and the state legislature in Hawaii.

Mr. Karem has previously served on the President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts for the Kennedy Center and the Department of Energy’s Electricity Advisory Committee.
